Bob Thurman, substituting for Frank Robinson in left field made the most of his opportunity with a six rbi performance against the Cubs. The lefty swinging Thurman, poled a grand slam homerun and later a two run shot in the 13 run onslaught. His two homeruns for the day give him 3 on the year and tied for the league lead with many players so far this season. Bob's main draw back is his lack of glove work..he is not good at all in the outfield and most of the time he will come out late in the game for a defensive replacement. Posted by Picasa
