Don kept the Redlegs going strong with his 6 hit complete game in the night cap with the Pirates. Redlegs won their 7th straight and now have a 1 game lead on second place Milwaukee. The Redlegs are currently 13-5 and the Braves are 11-5. The Braves kept pace with a 3 hit shutout from Bob Buhl over the Brooklyn Dodgers in Flatbush. The score was 3-0. Buhl got some offensive support from Eddie Mathews, who drove in two runs and hit his 5th homerun of the season.
