Ken Boyer has had a rough start to the 1957 season for the St. Louis Cardinals. He has had his batting average huver in the mid to low 100's and hadn't had a homerun as of May 2nd, 1957. He used little Ebbetts Field to break out of his season long funk and blasted two homeruns and almost a third. He went 3 for four and his double missed by inches leaving the "yard". The 3 rbi give Ken 4 on the year. He went ten games before he drove in these 3 rbi tonight. His average is now a still low, un-Boyer like .184 after hitting 26 homeruns and batting .306 in 1956.
