Sandy Koufax was roughed up in his last start so he was using this one inning stint to try to get loose. One of the scouts in the stands were experimenting with a new device that was suppose to clock the speed of the baseball when it was pointed at the point of release. Koufax was loose fans. His last two readings were 101 mph and his last toss hit 103 mph. Sandy struck out two of the three batters he faced. Posted by Picasa
