Bob Buhl fired a complete game 3 hitter at the New York Giants at Milwaukee's County Stadium and dropped his ERA under two at 1.98. The Braves have the best record in the National League at 20 and 8...and gained half game on Redlegs who split their double header with the Pirates. Buhl struckout six and walked only one in winning for the third time this year with no losses. Eddie Mathews was Buhl's best friend today hitting a two-run homerun, his 8th of the season.
