Frank hit his league leading 13th homerun to help the Redlegs knock off the Cardinals and climb to within a half game of front running Milwaukee. The Redlegs are tied with Phillies for that second place position. The Brooklyn Dodgers are in 4th place only a game and a half back in a great pennant race building in the early stages of the National League for 1957. Oh, by the way, Frank's teammate George Crowe tied him with a his own two-run blow. Now both of those Cincinnati sluggers have 13 dingers on the season.
