Roberts(3-2) gave Philadelphia a solid outing. He was stingy on the mound,

with 11 hits in the victory.

Sam Jones(1-4) was the losing pitcher. He surrendered 6 hits and 2 walks in 6
innings. With this win, Philadelphia has a 18-10 record. They have been 6-4
lately. With this loss, St. Louis has a 4-6 record of late, 10-16 overall.
