Robin Roberts got his third win of the season beating the St.Louis Cardinals on a beautiful 4 hit complete game job. His ERA dropped down below three at 2.91 and again his control was impeccable allowing nobody to reach base on balls. His homerun bugaboo was still evident as Wally Moon took him "deep" for the Cardinal's only run. It was the 11th homerun he has allowed this year. Cincinnati beat New York 10-1 and for some reason the boxscore or write-up was not added. the other two games were rained out
