Roy Face got two saves ( six so far this year) as the Pirates swept a double header from the New York Gianst. Face has pitched in 24 innings, allowing only 19 hits, 3 walks and struckout 17. He has a microscopic ERA of 0.75. The Pirates now have beaten the Giants in 5 of seven games this season. For the Giants, their woes continue. They are averaging just over three runs a game at 3.23, while allowing a shade over 5 runs per game. They are hitting only .225 with 38 homeruns in 44 games. Willie Mays is the only player who is hitting as high as three hundred, he is hittting .337.
