Duke Snider hit one of three homeruns the National League hit against the American League and drove in two runs to win All Star MVP honors in leading the Nationals to a 7-1 win in St. Louis. Henry Aaron and Ed Bailey also hit for the distance for Senior Circut. the lone American League run came off the bat of Gus Triandos who homered off Warren Spahn to break up the shutout. Nellie Fox had two hits to lead the Junior Circut. Harvey Haddix gets the win pitching two innings of scoreless ball. American League starter, Jim Bunning got the loss.
