Games of Saturday, July the 27th, 1957

With Philadelphia and Cincinnati losing, only 4th place Brooklyn stayed in contention with first place Milwaukee. Pittsburgh won giving them a 7 game lead over the 6th place Cardinals, who now better watch out for the streaking Chicago Cubs. Bruins beat the Phils and are two and a half games behind the terrible Cardinals. The reason the Cards are so bad this year is their lack of pitching. Murry Dickson just finished his season and had a horrible year with a 1 and 7 mark. In real life "Dicks" won 5 and only lost 3. That's an 8 game turn around folks.
